The Amtrak 10031 dome car

The Reno Snow Train rounds a curve between Floriston and Boca, between Reno and Truckee along Interstate 80. To get here, exit the Hirschdale Road exit off I-80 and go south, away from Boca and Stampede reservoirs.

From here, the train will pass milepost 216 around the corner before heading up a sweeping left curve to Boca Road. From Boca Road the tracks wind along Interstate 80 before running back along Glenshire Drive east of Truckee to milepost 208.

From milepost 208 trains enter Truckee, shown above. Truckee's limits are milepost 208 to 205, naturally on the Roseville Subdivision
